- instructs teammate with the ball to send the ball down the
touchline.
Eighteen or "18" - Requester is waiting at, or would like the ball
served to the top of the penalty area or the penalty spot.
"Line"
- instructs teammate with the ball to play the ball up or
down the touchline.
"Man
On"
- warns player with the ball that an opponent is coming on
fast from the blind side.
"One-Two"
- asks for a quick one-touch return pass / give and go.
"Push
Up"
- asks teammate to quickly move up the field away from their
goal with the purpose to leave one or more opponents in an
off-side position and/or to support the attack.
"Send
It" -
instructs teammate with the ball to pass the soccer ball
into space where the teammate can run onto the ball.
"Square"
/
"Got me square" – communicates to
teammate with the ball the option of a pass sideways towards
the touch line. The requester should be square or slightly
behind square of the player with the ball.
"Split
"
- pass the ball to in-between two defenders.
"Switch"
- asks to change the point of attack from one side of the
field to the other.
"Time"
- lets the player of the passed ball know he is not under
defensive pressure.
"What
You See"
- informs teammate with the ball that nobody is behind them
and he/she can continue to penetrate the ball up the field.
